How it works

From your website to your next move

  1. Point

First, you give it your website

Wakeful reads your site, works out what you sell, and suggests the competitors you lose deals to. You keep the ones that matter.

  2. Read

Then it reads what people say

Reviews, Reddit and Hacker News threads, posts on X and comparison articles, about you and each competitor, quoted word for word.

  3. Compare

    Next, it finds the gaps

What your users keep asking for, and what your competitors’ users keep complaining about. Grouped, counted and ranked.

  4. Decide

And you decide what to build

A few moves, each with who it wins, the bet and the first step. The people who asked for it come with it.

FAQ

Questions

Something else? Write to and a person answers.

Where does Wakeful read?

Public reviews on G2, Capterra and Trustpilot, threads on Reddit and Hacker News, posts on X and comparison articles. You can narrow it to the sites you care about. Wakeful never reads private messages.

Does it post or reply for me?

No. Wakeful reads, counts and quotes. Every quote links back to the original post, so you can reply yourself, as yourself.

How does it decide what to build?

It groups what people say into themes, counts who backs each one, and looks for what your users ask for and your competitors get complained about. Each move names who it wins and keeps every quote, so you can check its work.

How often does it read?

Every week, on every plan. Each reading looks for what’s new since the last one, and the moves are reviewed with it.

What does it cost?

Founder is $29 a month, or $24 a month billed yearly, for one product and 3 competitors. Startup is $79 a month, or $66 billed yearly, for up to 3 products, 8 competitors across them and your full history. If Wakeful isn’t useful in your first 14 days, write to us and we’ll refund you in full.

What happens to the data?

Wakeful keeps the public posts it quotes and the moves it builds from them, for your account only. Delete your account and they go with it.
